In chapel on Monday, Nov 6 we will celebrate the Commemoration of the Faithfully Departed.  If you have lost a loved one or close friend in the last calendar year you may share that name with Mr. Fehrs in person or via email and we will recognize that individual in chapel on Monday.  Please have those names to Mr. Fehrs by 3:15 on Thursday Nov 2

 

FBLA and the Faculty Wellness Committee are sponsoring the LN Walk for Wellness. This competition has begun and will last for two weeks and consist of counting laps walked or run around the track after school. Laps will be recorded individually and tallied for class totals. There will be rewards for top class individuals as well as the top class total. Come out and Walk for Wellness TONIGHT from 3:00 – 4:30.

 

THE PROJECT GRADUATION ANGEL’S APPLES FUNDRAISER pick up is TODAY from 3:00-6:00.  Remember to pick up your apples right after school.

A message from Coach Lowe: Boys basketball tryouts begin TODAY. Players should be dressed out and in Room 109 by 3:15pm for a meeting, followed by tryouts from 5:15-7:15pm. The meeting and tryouts are mandatory for any players not currently playing a fall sport. Make sure you are ON TIME and have a sports physical turned in to the office. See Coach Schoedel if you have any questions.

There will be rewards for top class individuals as well as the top class total. Come out and Walk for Wellness TONIGHT from 3:00 – 4:30.

The Varsity Football Crusaders will play in the district semifinal tonight at 7:00 vs. the Carnahan Cougars. Come and show your CRUSADER SPIRIT! And, remember that since this is a playoff game, MSHSAA requires that we charge admission for EVERYONE.

Congratulations to freshman Taylor Robinson who has been named to the Class 2 District 5 all-district softball team.  Taylor was the Crusader’s pitcher and leading hitter this year, batting over .700 and leading the team in runs scored and RBI’s.

Starting today, Oct. 23rd , members of FBLA and the Faculty Wellness Committee will sponsor the LN Walk for Wellness. This competition will last for two weeks and consist of counting laps walked or run around the track after school. The idea is to promote physical wellness and encourage students and faculty to get outside to walk and socialize. Laps will be recorded individually and tallied for class totals. There will be rewards for top class individuals as well as the top class total. Come out and Walk for Wellness over the next two weeks from 3:00 – 4:30.

 

THE PROJECT GRADUATION ANGEL’S APPLES FUNDRAISER HAS RECEIVED AN EXTENSION!  THE ORDER FORMS FOR ANGEL’S APPLES ARE NOW DUE BY THE END OF THE DAY TODAY! If you have a form, be sure to turn it into the main office ASAP!  ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT, Pick up day has been moved – Pick up will now be October 31 from 3:00-6:00.  Put this date in your calendar!

 

Getting an annual flu vaccine is the first and best way to protect yourself from the flu.

Flu shots will be offered at LHSN on Tuesday, Oct. 24th from 1:00-4:00 pm in the Main Office. The consent form must be completed to receive a flu shot. Insurance information can be entered on the form or you can bring your insurance card with you when the shot is received. Parents need to sign the form for students age 13-17.
