Crusader News

The LN FBLA members are happy to announce the next event in the LN Battle of the Classes. Starting Monday Oct. 23rd , members of FBLA and the Faculty wellness committee will sponsor the LN Walk for Wellness. This competition will last for two weeks and consist of counting laps walked or run around the track after school. The idea is to promote physical wellness and encourage students and faculty to get outside to walk and socialize. Laps will be recorded individually and tallied to class totals. There will be rewards for top class individuals as well as the top class total. Come out and Walk for Wellness over the next two weeks from 3:00 – 4:30.


THE PROJECT GRADUATION ANGEL’S APPLES FUNDRAISER HAS RECEIVED AN EXTENSION!  THE ORDER FORMS FOR ANGEL’S APPLES ARE NOW DUE BY THE END OF THE DAY MONDAY! You will now have the weekend to sell these delicious apples and make money for YOUR Project Graduation. Turn them into the main office.


Getting an annual flu vaccine is the first and best way to protect yourself from the flu.

Flu shots will be offered at LHSN on Tuesday, Oct. 24th from 1:00-4:00 pm in the Main Office.  Flu shots will be available to all students, family members, faculty, and staff over the age of 13 years.  A parental consent form must be completed for ages 13-17.

Please sign up for a flu shot in the main office and pick up a consent form by Friday, Oct. 20th.  The consent form must be completed to receive a flu shot.  Insurance information can be entered on the form or you can bring your insurance card with you when the shot is received.


School Picture Retakes are scheduled for Friday, October 27. Any student who was not photographed or wishes to be rephotographed should sign up in the main office and pick up an order form. If you ordered photos and want to retake them, please bring your photo package with you. Please contact Miss Bork with any questions.


Counseling News

Congratulations to Ray Pollvogt!  She has been accepted at the University of Iowa.  


Congratulations to Diamond Younge!  She has been accepted at Oral Roberts University.

A portable re-charger has been found and turned into the lost and found.  Any student missing a phone/ipad re-charger please come to the Counseling Center and speak with Mrs. McFarland as we may have your missing item.
