LISTEN UP!  It is time again to begin winter cheerleading!!  There will be a short meeting on Monday, December 4 at 3:30 in room 111.  Practice and tryouts will begin on Tuesday, December 5 at 3:30 in the cafeteria.  See Mrs. Pauluhn in the main office if you have any questions – she will be able to put you in touch with Coach Everett.

Get your friends together, come up with a cool name, and get ready to take on the rest of the school (and the mighty faculty team). Get your team together and get ready to BUMP SET SMASH!

The Lutheran North Christmas Concert will be this Saturday, Dec. 2, at 7:00 pm. Make plans now to attend. Our Crusader musicians are very talented and will definitely put you in the Christmas spirit!

 

Spring musical auditions are almost here, have you signed up yet? Auditions are Thursday and Friday, December 7-8. Audition forms and a sign-up sheet are available outside the music room. More info and audition scripts and songs are in OnCampus, see Miss Bork if you need access to the group or have any questions.

Get your friends together, come up with a cool name, and get ready to take on the rest of the school (and the mighty faculty team). Get your team together and get ready to BUMP SET SMASH!

Make plans to attend the State Semifinal football game here on Saturday at 1:00, when your undefeated Crusaders take on the undefeated Lamar Tigers. Admission is $7 per person. Come and cheer loudly!

 

Crusaders, it’s time to get back into the swing of things! Racquet Club is back and better than ever before! New year, new days, new room, and to top it off, new sports! Racquet Club will be meeting Monday and Wednesday 3:15-4:30 in room 206 every week during the winter season starting Monday, November 27. If you have any questions ask Mr. Endorf or Cory Keathley. Get ready to make a racket!

Did you know that 1/5 of the student body auditioned for the fall play? Miss Bork and Mrs. Pierson were amazed by all the talent. We had a great time, and it is time to do it all again. Auditions for the spring musical, Little Shop of Horrors, will be held December 7th and 8th. More details and audition materials will be available after Thanksgiving break.

 

Are you selling POINSETTIAS? If not, you should be! They are gorgeous plants and proceeds from the sale will help make Project Graduation bigger and better! Take orders from your relatives on Thanksgiving Day. The deadline for orders is Dec. 4.

 

PASS is recruiting for next summer’s program. The application is open to anyone. The deadline is TODAY. Applications are in the office.

Tomorrow is Good Choice Rewards Day! All students with NO office referrals during 1st quarter have earned a dress down day. To see if you qualify, check the list posted in the main hallway and in OnCampus. Remember, no ripped jeans, leggings, or hoodies. You know what’s appropriate, Crusaders!

Kingdom State University is sponsoring a Blanket Drive and Lutheran North is joining in. Please bring in new or gently used blankets and/or sleeping bags for the less fortunate. Your generosity will help warm the hearts and bodies of those in need. This collection will last until this Thursday.

 

PASS is ready for the next summer program and has started its recruiting process. The application is opened to anyone. Stop by the main office and pick up an application form if you wish to be part of the PASS family. The deadline is Friday, Nov. 17th. Act quickly to reserve your spot in the upcoming program.
