Black History Council is hosting a movie TODAY, February 23, at 4:00 pm in the cafeteria. We will be watching Hidden Figures. The cost is $3. Snacks are included in the price.

Attention musical cast and staff!  The EXTENDED deadline to turn in your t-shirt and biography forms to the Counseling Center is TODAY, February 23rd.  If you have misplaced any of these forms, please see Mrs. McFarland for replacements soon!  If your family members are filling out patronship forms, remember these are due in the Counseling Center next Wednesday, Feb. 28th.  Students turning in patronship forms will be able to choose advanced sale tickets on Thursday, March 1st based on your class and the order the forms were received.

Boys interested in playing tennis this spring should attend an informational meeting Thursday (that would be TODAY) Feb. 15th after school in room 214.  Again boys interested in participating in a lifetime racquet sport that may open doors for them in the future should attend an informational meeting TODAY in room 214.  See Mr. Endorf with questions.

 

Attention anyone interested in participating in Track and Field this spring, there will be a brief meeting on Thursday, (again, that would be TODAY) February 15 at 3:10 in Room 204 – Coach Prahlow’s room.

National Honor Society is sponsoring a dress down day TODAY. All of the proceeds will support the nonprofit organization D-Rev. D-Rev provides people across the globe with affordable medical care in countries that do not have access to the medical care we take for granted everyday. There will be sign up tables in the front hallway every morning this week, including the actual dress down day. To participate, it will cost $1 for a shirt and $2 for pants (that’s $3 for a total outfit). Please participate in this fundraiser and help D-Rev continue to save lives across the world.

Calling ALL Juniors & Seniors!  Kingdom State University’s after school program started back up from 3:30-5:00 on Thursdays in room 211.  This after school program is designed to raise awareness, educate and inspire youth to integrate their faith into all aspects of life and make your transition into young adulthood a success.  In a fresh and exciting way, you will engage in topics such as:  relationships, discovering purpose, leadership, finances and more.  Don’t miss out on an amazing opportunity!  Registration is available online at kingdomsu.org/enroll.
