This Saturday, September 1, the Varsity Football team will be playing in the East Saint Louis Classic.  THERE WILL BE A FAN BUS GOING. SIGN UP IN THE MAIN OFFICE IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO RIDE THE FREE FAN BUS. The only cost will be the purchase of a ticket to attend this game.  They are available for $10. Don’t delay!! Sign up today!!


Sports News

Yesterday at Jeff Barracks, the guys finished 8th in the field of 20 schools. They were the top Class 2 school of the 9 entered. While the ladies did not have a team score, Ellie Jander medaled, Jordyn White finished in the top 30 and Ashlynne Webb was in the top 50. Isaac Stout was 2nd and Secondo Kaka was 4th to medal, with Joey Jolly in the top 30. The next meet is next Tuesday at Principia.


Crusader News

TONIGHT is the annual Back to School Dance. On Friday August 31st, come celebrate with your old friends and make some new ones. The dance runs from 7-10pm, and the cost is only $4. Come out tonight and start the year off right at the Back to School Dance!


Join Kingdom State University for its 3rd annual FUN 4 PURPOSE community carnival on Saturday, September 8th from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at Lutheran High School North.  Enjoy free food, raffle giveaways, games, prizes, the KSU Purpose scholarship presentation and more. Sign up to volunteer and receive service hours, and get your free T Shirt. You may sign up in the main office.


Counseling News

The following colleges will have a representative in the Counseling Center in the next week.  If you are interested in meeting with any of the schools listed, please be sure to sign up on Naviance at least 24 hours in advance.  Late sign up will not be accepted.

A representative from the UMSL Bridge Program will be in the Counseling Center tomorrow, September 5th at 8:45.  They will be available to talk with students in 9th through 12th grades about the Saturday Academy, a FREE academic and career development program available to all area high school students.  Today is the last day to sign up for this visit. If you want to come to this visit, and you do not have access to Naviance, stop by the Counseling Center and let Mrs. McFarland know you would like to attend by the end of school today.
